fantabulous.
Pretty nice tune. Sounds very good. It has plenty of variation and stuff. Cool stuff. I would like to see it finished. There's alot you can do, maybe bump up the intensity? This has lots of potential.

good chill theme
Good theme for chill moments, sounds kinda like "sitting on couch doing nothing" music. Everything is very low in sound and the bass is what really shines.
pretty good
It is pretty good at giving a feeling of "somethings going to happen." It's a very simplistic piece but it can't be used in very many places other than title screens and whatnot. However this loops almost perfectly. It's good for an hour and a half of work.
Not sure what kind of music you listen to to be able to call this "simplistic" (ever heard of Modern Minimalism, buddy?) with all the various motifs and structures flowing into each other. Perhaps it's another case of "sounds easy, looks hard" music... :P
It's designed to be used as menu music mainly.
very sad and mellow.
It does a good job of tugging on the heart strings. It has a nice sense of progression and it gives a sad mood. It's bare basic, doesn't change much. Good job overall.
Interesting.
It's very slow paced and feel like it wants to build up but it never quite does. The beats are consistent and okay but it never dares to be different and plays it safe the whole time. There isn't much to say since there isn't much here. Overcome you barrier of under confidence, I want to see the best you can do.
Alright.
Rocky start, too much of the same. Im a fan of the rhythms and beats, it has a very unique feel because of the synths and instruments you are using. Most of it sounds the same throughout though and it's not anything I can dance to. It's too chill for that, it seems more like something that would play in the background of a light moment. Sometimes it gets a little bit of a horror vibe, almost feels like a haunted disco maybe? Although, thats mainly because of the main synth.
Overall I say good effort and good job.
I put this under dance because I'm clueless about electronic classification. What would you say this is?
I'm planning on adding a synth/envelope in the intro/bridges so it won't be as repetitive at the beginning or thin at the bridges.
Thanks for the review!
Okay.
It has a very chilled and relaxed feeling to it, I liked the percussion instruments and the synth that kicks in around 2:04. The track itself is repetitive but it works well.
I don't know what to say about it though, I felt very numbed listening to the track, not sure what to think of it, I don't hate it, but I don't like it either.
Thanks for the review mate! Yeah, it did seem a bit numbing in my opinion as well. Maybe I'll Spice it up and repost. XP
Not sure. I appreciate the honesty though, always useful!
Well done
Nice beats and rhythm. Very good use of the piano and synths, works pretty harmoniously together. This would work great for a faster paced sort of scenario. The piano gives it a sort of mystical feeling, as if your not sure what to expect, it just feels magical.
The synth and beats gives you a "want to dance" feeling. Overall I say a good job. Keep it up.
Thanks! I'm glad you liked the piano, I wasn't quite sure about it. I was thinking this would work as a title screen or shoot-em-up game. I will certainly keep it up!
Cat-tacular.
This is a very mellow exploring theme. I liked the composition and melodies, thing I didn't like was how low in volume it was, doesn't feel as epic when it's not booming in your ears. Yes I turned up the volume, not the point.
Thing is, Edirol makes its instruments very soft, and when I artificially try to boost them, I get distortion. I'd rather you turn up the volume then have distorted violas ruining my track.
sickly.
Lacked any real rhythm. The rhythms constantly changed and weren't redeemed by anything. The instruments themselves sounded like nails on chalkboard to me.
I don't agree with you in any way.
I wanna make video games! Yeah!
