Okay.

It has a very chilled and relaxed feeling to it, I liked the percussion instruments and the synth that kicks in around 2:04. The track itself is repetitive but it works well.
I don't know what to say about it though, I felt very numbed listening to the track, not sure what to think of it, I don't hate it, but I don't like it either.

KaoticAlchemist responds:

Thanks for the review mate! Yeah, it did seem a bit numbing in my opinion as well. Maybe I'll Spice it up and repost. XP
Not sure. I appreciate the honesty though, always useful!

Well done

Nice beats and rhythm. Very good use of the piano and synths, works pretty harmoniously together. This would work great for a faster paced sort of scenario. The piano gives it a sort of mystical feeling, as if your not sure what to expect, it just feels magical.
The synth and beats gives you a "want to dance" feeling. Overall I say a good job. Keep it up.

MeteorManMike responds:

Thanks! I'm glad you liked the piano, I wasn't quite sure about it. I was thinking this would work as a title screen or shoot-em-up game. I will certainly keep it up!

Cat-tacular.

This is a very mellow exploring theme. I liked the composition and melodies, thing I didn't like was how low in volume it was, doesn't feel as epic when it's not booming in your ears. Yes I turned up the volume, not the point.

TheBellmaker responds:

Thing is, Edirol makes its instruments very soft, and when I artificially try to boost them, I get distortion. I'd rather you turn up the volume then have distorted violas ruining my track.

sickly.

Lacked any real rhythm. The rhythms constantly changed and weren't redeemed by anything. The instruments themselves sounded like nails on chalkboard to me.

ErlendHL responds:

I don't agree with you in any way.

pretty bad

Most of the tracks lacked rhythm and didn't transition too smoothly. They mostly sounded the same and very repetitive.

sontukmusic responds:

lol this is the funniest review I've ever gotten

Excelent

Well balanced and great. Not a fan of the completely random notes starting at 0:28. Overall though you managed to capture a sense of joy/energy.

sumguy720 responds:

Oh man, I'm glad you didn't flinch at the random notes at 0:42, those were the ones I was worried about. It would be cool if you could be a little more specific about what you don't like about them, but I will definitely pay more attention to that area when I next revise. Thanks.

Cool.

At first I didn't think much of it until the song picked up. It's a great party theme. Very much a fan of it. Gets abit repetitive but not that it weighs in badly. Just enough repetition to sound good.

DjAbbic responds:

Thanks :)

Alright

Takes a while to pick up, but most of the beginning lacks rhythm or direction, after that when the wub wubs start the song picks up and gets better. This track is alright by me, but not great.

Obsideo responds:

Well thank you, I'll work harder on my next song.

monotonous

Very little variation, it's the same beat for the most part. Not bad but not good either. I don't see myself coming back to it.

DJ-Chilvan responds:

Thanks for the review! I understand the monotony. I know with beats it's pretty hard to add much variety and switch things up (for the rapper's sake) but I see your point. I am planning for my future beats to have more variation. I still need to do some more research and find new ways to switch things up. Honestly, every time I get a review about my monotonous beats I appreciate it because it's something I really need to work on.

Thanks!

Awesome track

Near perfect for space shooters and boss themes. The song has constant rhythms put into it to keep it sounding fresh by adding instruments, changing how one sounds, or by making it louder. The instruments are tuned harmoniously with each other, I can tell this wasn't easy to make. Great job, this track is so underrated.

MashedByMachines responds:

thanks :D yes it took a while to make the song! :)

I wanna make video games! Yeah!
